Classic scene from "The Phantom of the Opera" on stage... always has me in tears...

Anyway... I'll be honest. I'm not very happy with this drawing. The way I drew Erik's eyes and face just bothers me. I think I deviated away from how I usually draw him and it just... bothers me. But I decided to upload it anyway....

That scene always makes me see the Phantom in a different light than the rest of the film.

Oh man this scene my favorite other than the boat...It made me cry at the movie AND in the musical. So deep I can totally feel poor Erik's pain. But I think this looks good. ;o;

I just adore your PotO drawings. You always put so much detail into them (monkey music box, Erik's suit, what little we can glimpse of the deformity.) Not to mention the "awwww" factor. :D

I think Erik's eyes look fine. I wouldn't change them if I were you. The only possible difference I can see is they might be a bit shorter than you normally draw them.

Say, I DO have an observation: if NO ONE in your artistic universe has a nose, why would the absence of one be so traumatic for Erik? (wink)

It still looks good, even if you don't like it. It makes me feel so bad for Erik! And this scene always gets me emotional.

I look at this picture and I can hear the words so clearly, I have almost started to cry! I wouldn't change anyhting about this picture. I think he looks fine. Please know we all love your work. It doesn't matter what you post, we still love your work! :+favlove:
