This part is always sad. And you did it very well. While the people are of course the best part, I also like the background a lot.
On a side note: His hair kind of reminds me of Beethtoven's. xD

Aw so sweet. And such a beautiful scene. Ramin Karimloo whom I saw for my third time seeing the show this summer was amazing during this scene. I literally sobbed. :'(

*sniff* *runs off to find tissues* I adore this scene, but it manages to make me cry every time I watch it.
"This face, which earned a mother's fear and loathing"; that line is always the one that starts me sobbing hysterically. You'd think I might've built up an immunity to it or something, but, apparently not.
I love his "deformity", you did that really well. I assume you're still working with Twistables? You've done a fabulous job regardless Jeez, I wish I could shade with crayons like that.

i know, same here! i guess a phan will never grow an immunity against tears for Erik... at least some of us.

yah the final lair scene is the jem of the peice, mostly because the true hearts of the characters are revealed and the music just gets to its climax. ahhh i love it so much i really want to see it again. hopefully next year we'll take a trip to england and i'll see it there! yay

thanks! it took me a long time to make the deformity look ok and i'm still not entirely impressed with it... probably because on stage he looks a little bit more palid. oh well. and yes, i still use twistables, although i used a lot of sharpies for the background on this one.
