I'M SUBSCRIBED. FINALLY. The minute I saw that fancy little star next to my username I concluded that I won the contest... I'm excited to say the least! Thank you ALL for your votes and comments... I feel like I'm floating on air.
So before I get to my 402 messages and 100 deviation messages... why don't I fiddle around with some of my new features? You may not see anything too dazzling coming from my journal page until someone helps me find a good CSS template (I do hope that's what it's called!) So... help please?
Once I feel caught up on here and have less than 20 messages in my inbox, I will surely upload bunches of pictures from the trip and elaborate on all the wonderful things I experienced. There will also be some drawings I want to complete... I brought a sketch book on my trip, but not my normal supplies... so my good sketches will have to be converted into actual DRAWINGS... but I digress...
Here's some of the things I did on the trip, in case you are curious:
ENGLAND (LONDON, WINDSOR, ETC.):
Visited the tower of london, Windsor Castle, stayed with my lovely uncle and aunt, saw Phantom front row (I met Ramin Kamirloo!), saw Les Miserables (which had Earl Carpenter as Javert... *swoon*), saw Buckingham palace, went to Legoland, saw my aunt's mom in the country and had a big tea (complete with pastries and sandwiches galore!), walked to St. Paul's cathedral and the Globe Theatre, saw the Big Ben (of course!), walked around the beautiful Blenheim palace, and walked through Hyde park. *Maniacal Hyde laughter*
FRANCE (PARIS):
Walked down Champs Elysees, the Latin Quarter where we ate a fancy dinner in a restaurant founded in 1910 (It still LOOKED 1910! *chuckle*), saw the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower (went to the second floor at night), Notre Dame, the Louvre and d'Orsay (I personally liked d'Orsay better), saw a bunch of shops and crazy-expensive antiques, visited Versailles (which was gorgeous), DISNEYLAND (on the 4th of July, no less!), walked through Montmartre (where many artists were painting outdoors) to the Sacre Coeur cathedral, and of course the glorious Opera House (though I didn't get to get inside of Box Five, I breathed on the little window and took lots of pictures... It's a magical place, even when you don't get to visit absolutely everything!)
SWITZERLAND/FRANCE (GENEVA):
Stayed with my two older cousins and had a blast having picnics and seeing the Jet d'Eau (one of the largest fountains in the world), we drove through the countryside and just relaxed...
SPAIN (BARCELONA):
Stayed at fancy hotels, shopped at "Las Ramblas" (dangerous but exciting streets!) where I bought a hat just like Charles Dance Phantom's picnic hat that was 100 years old! We saw the awesome Sagrada Familia and not much else... we were so tired at this point that we just rested...
So now I'm back, and must tell you that it's a miracle nothing got robbed or misplaced... two shady characters almost held us up in a train, but my family prayed and they left us alone... it was crazy. But God works miracles... I saw his hand work them throughout the trip. He's amazing!
Well, until later, folks! I have to unpack...
Yours truly,
DarthxErik

Haha, I hope so! My dad went to London and Paris this year for business and took some videos and pictures, so at least I can watch/see those for now.

You got pictures of Box 5?! That's amazing! If I went to the Opera House, you wouldn't be able to pry me away from it.
And congrats on winning the contest!
